Hello, and welcome to Ashfall Fossil Beds. We're excited you want to visit.

Ashfall Fossil Beds is an active research and dig site. Collecting fossils or other specimens on the park grounds is strictly prohibited.

Ashfall Fossil Beds is closed for the season. We look forward to welcoming guests back in spring 2024.

May 1st – May 25th	Sunday & Monday: Closed Tuesday through Saturday: 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM
May 26th – September 1st	Sunday: 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM Monday: Closed Tuesday through Saturday: 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM
September 2nd – October 13th	Sunday: 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM Monday & Tuesday: Closed Wednesday through Saturday: 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM
October 14th – April 30, 2025	Closed for the Season

Admission plus valid Nebraska Park Entry Permit ($6 for in-state plates, $12 for out-of-state plates) required.
Nebraska Park Entry Permits are available for advance purchase online.

Adults, Children 3+	$8.00 per person
Children under 3	FREE
UNSM Member	FREE – valid membership card must be presented upon arrival
